Absolutely phenomenal razor. So smooth and efficient especially with the higher # plates. Bought as a travel razor since I already have a 6S. Seriously think that this is a smoother shaver.

I don’t know why I always do the same stupid stuff. I’ve seen all the impressive reviews on the 6S but kept putting it off. I couldn’t justify spending that kind of money on one razor. It is one razor but it’s also so much more. It’s literally a six in one. I’ve been shaving with a straight razor for years to trim up my neck line but I’ve lost the steadiness in my hands. About six months ago I changed to safety razors and it’s became a bit of a hobby now. My skin hasn’t looked so good in decades, but back to the razor. An Absolutely fantastic razor. Best shave I’ve ever had. I really like 3 and 4 but can’t really say much about the other sets. The four gets me a really close shave in the morning with one pass down and the second pass up. Then in the afternoon I hit the beard with the 3 in. Yes I’m a freak, I need to shave twice a day or my face is a sanding disc. I do change blades after each shave but my beard eats up a razor and I don’t even want to risk the razor burn from a dull blade tugging. This razor is solid, well built and you can tell be the way the parts fit together so tightly that it was made t a high standard of tolerances. If you are like me and want to try the razor but the money is holding you back. Its worth it and it even works well with the cheaper blades. Just toss them after each use. The best shave ever and I don’t have to keep buying inferior razors every few weeks trying to get a great shave.

Was looking for a razor (non plastic throw away) which allows for working small areas like below nose for thinner mustache line. This does the trick over my single bladed double edged one. Smaller head is a big plus. First time to use it but noticed doesn’t shave as close as my old guy. Maybe twig would go closer.

Still, good solid unit. Handling blades wet would be a dicey thing so go slow and dry.

There are very few 18mm boar brushes on the market. This is the best I’ve found. It starts off stiff and with minor splaying but once broken in picks up lather effectively and works extremely well with good splay. This brush is hard to find and I’m happy Castle Rock stocks it. I prefer this over the Simpson Wee Scot, Simpson Major and Maggard 18mm Timberwolf synthetic knot.
Customer service was top notch with a quick response when there was an issue with payment through the site, which was not anything to do with Castle Rocks website or payment setup. Will happily do business with them again.

Fantastic razor.

Extremely mild razor, even in the medium version. The standout feature is the built-in shaving angle, it’s impossible to cut yourself unless you’re a newbie to wet shaving. The finish and rounded edges feel great on the skin. I’ve never enjoyed shaving so much. Pair this with a medium-high sharpness blade. I plan on purchasing the titanium +++ version, that will be my final razor.

The Rockwell 6S is one of the most highly reviewed razors manufactured today. Add in that it is American made. Then sell it for the best price available on the internet. It's a no-brainer.
